Hello, we are the Geumsan Foreign Residents Integration Support Center.
We sincerely thank everyone who has visited the Geumsan Foreign Residents Integration Support Center.

The foreign resident population in Korea reached approximately 2.45 million in 2023, showing continuous growth since first exceeding 2 million in 2018. Chungcheongnam-do Province, where Geumsan County is located, has the country's highest proportion of foreign residents at 7.0% of its total population. With foreign residents comprising 9.4% of Geumsan County's population, it is time to establish diverse support systems that enable foreign residents to coexist as integral members of our community.

The Geumsan Foreign Residents Integration Support Center opened in 2024 in response to these social changes and needs. Our top priority is facilitating communication and coexistence between foreign residents and Geumsan County. We have established and are operating an integrated management system for foreign residents that goes beyond academic pursuits, career development, and business startups to support their settlement in the region.

We are committed to helping foreign residents become specialized talent and driving forces for regional development. This commitment is realized through educational programs and employment/startup support based on regional characteristics and industrial demands, various administrative services for adaptation to life in Korea, counseling and consulting services in areas such as education, career development, daily life, labor affairs, and legal matters, as well as interpretation and translation support.

Furthermore, we aim to strengthen information accessibility by establishing databases and providing visualized materials for foreign residents. We serve as an information gateway while promoting online and offline communities among foreign residents and building networks between local and foreign residents. Through these efforts, we will help Geumsan County advance as a platform region leading the glocal era.

We will continue to systematize and stabilize a virtuous cycle of early settlement and permanent residence for all foreign residents in Geumsan County. We would be grateful for your support in making our efforts yield meaningful results.
